Internet Marketing Training
We are pleased to announce that we will, once again, offer our highly successful internet marketing training during the low season months of 2009. While many establishment owners use the quieter months for renovations and some time off, we believe it’s also a good time to refresh one’s marketing skills and there is no better way than doing this in a relaxed atmosphere with like minded establishment owners.
Between April and August 2009, Hospitality Site will offer it’s half-day training session “Internet Marketing Simplified” in the Western Cape.
With a completely revised agenda and a 40 page handout to take home, this course is packed with interesting tips and tricks on how to successfully market your establishment on the internet.
Hospitality Site offers an informative, fun, eye-opening and interactive half-day course introducing you to the following topics:
Online marketing trends and consumer behaviour.
Usability and user-friendliness of websites and useful enhancements to turn lookers into bookers.
Marketing of your website through search engine optimisation and pay per click campaigns
E-mail marketing: newsletters and e-mail campaigns.

Why market my Hospitality Service online?
The answer is simple – because your customers are online!
Eighty percent of travellers research their destinations,
accommodation and activities online, more than half of all
reservations are made online. You need to have an online
presence that stands out and you need to do a really good job in
marketing your establishment online.
Delegating that task to someone else is dangerous and you
easily loose touch with what works and what not, resulting in
unnecessary money spent and loss of potential customers. You
need to understand and take control of your online marketing so
that you are in a position to understand what services you really
need, what they should cost and to judge the quality of the
results.
Marketing your establishment online consists of many activities
combined into a powerful marketing strategy. Having a website
is only the beginning. Your website needs to be user-friendly,
and differentiate your establishment from others to make a good
first impression as any potential guest will judge your
establishment based on the quality of your website. And they will
leave with a simple click of the mouse.
Once you have a well designed website with quality content
focusing on your visitors, you need to be sure potential guests
can find it online. There are a number of strategies that can be
used to attract visitors to your website, they include search
engine optimization, online advertising campaigns, e-mail
marketing and signing up with online travel portals and
directories.
After you have worked so hard to get people to visit your site,
the ultimate objective of your marketing efforts is to convert
lookers into bookers. When a visitor decided to stay with you,
they expect the booking process to be fast and efficient,
24hours, 365 days a year. To loose a potential visitor at this
stage just because he is waiting too long on confirmation or your
establishment does not accept credit card payment is totally
unnecessary but happens too often.
By attending this course, you will learn that doing a great emarketing
job does not require a huge budget nor is it difficult.
Designed specifically for B&B’s, Guest Houses and small
Hotels, we provide the right information to inform and educate
you to market your establishment quickly and effectively, without
of spending a fortune on marketing.
By the end of this course, you will have a thorough practical
